An aldehyde-free impression disinfectant with a broad spectrum of activity and fast action times. Of particular note is its excellent compatibility with various impression materials. Dentoprint® MD liquid acts quickly and reliably without adversely affecting the dimensional stability of the impression materials. VAH-listed.

Areas of Application

For disinfecting all types of impression materials, such as C-silicones, A-silicones (VPS), polyethers, alginates, hydrocolloids, and metal or plastic impression trays.

Spectrum of Activity + Exposure Times:

Bacteria (including MRSA) according to VAH, EN 13727, EN 14561 (high load): Concentrated, 1 min.
Yeasticide (C. albicans) according to VAH, EN 13624, EN 14562 (high concentration): Concentrated solution, 1 min.
Enveloped viruses (e.g., HBV, HIV, HCV) according to RKI / DVV and EN 14476 and EN 17111 (low viral load): Concentrated, 5 min.
TbB (M. terrae in suspension test, low concentration): 15 min

Composition

100 g contain: 0.24 g benzyl C12-16-alkyldimethylammonium chloride; 0.24 g N,N-didecyl-N,N-dimethylammonium chloride; 0.24 g C12–14-alkyl[(ethylphenyl)methyl]dimethylammonium chloride; 0.35 g chlorhexidine gluconate

Aldehyde-free, broad-spectrum disinfectant concentrate, including TB, for disinfecting dental impressions without causing dimensional changes. Listed by the VAH.

For disinfecting all dental impression materials.

Spectrum of Activity + Contact Times

Bacteria according to EN 13727, EN 14561, VAH (high load): 2.0% – 15 min.
Yeasticide (C. albicans) according to EN 13624, EN 14562 VAH (high load): 2.0% – 15 min.
Enveloped viruses (e.g., HBV, HIV, HCV) according to RKI / DVV and EN 14476 and EN 17111 (high concentration): 2.0% – 15 min.
TbB (M. terrae) according to EN 14348, EN 14563 (low load): 4.0% – 30 min. / 3.0% – 60 min.

Composition

Per 100 g: 2.75 g N-(3-aminopropyl)-N-dodecylpropane-1,3-diamine, 4.40 g N,N-didecyl-N,N-dimethylammonium chloride.
