In order to offer a disinfection program perfectly tailored to the dental sector and its specific requirements, Müller-Omicron has thoroughly reviewed its entire product portfolio and has specifically expanded and improved it. In addition to faster contact times and a broader spectrum of activity, the focus was particularly on absolute user-friendliness, minimizing or eliminating the potential for allergies and health risks, and ensuring the highest level of material compatibility.
Efficient and Powerful Disinfection
The result is the DESINFEKTION line—a range of products tailored to the needs and requirements of dental practices. It enables efficient and powerful disinfection that covers all indications. The products have been tested and evaluated in accordance with current standards and EN norms and are VAH-listed depending on their intended use. Practical accessories, such as dispenser bottles, canister taps, dosing pumps, and canister wrenches, ensure safe and easy handling of the products. In addition, the Lift & Stick labeling system significantly simplifies the mandatory labeling and documentation of medical devices in use—making it simply easier.
Wide selection of fabric systems
Due to the rapidly growing field of wipe disinfection, the new product line now includes a wider selection of different wipe systems. Wipes are available in various sizes and qualities, pre-saturated with alcohol-based or alcohol-free solutions, or as dry wipes for individual saturation.
Faster onset of action and a broader spectrum of activity
All pre-soaked TuchWisch systems meet the requirements of the Four-Field Test (EN 16615) and are listed as a standalone VAH product. The revised Dentalrapid® SD liquid soaking solution now offers not only faster contact times but also an expanded spectrum of activity, earning the “Limited Virucidal PLUS” designation. The modified alcohol-free version, Dentalrapid® soft SD liquid, has also seen significant improvements in both contact times and spectrum of activity.
Expansion of Our Product Line
Other indication groups have been effectively supplemented by additional products, such as “ Dentosuc ” weekly AC pur for weekly cleaning of the suction system—an ideal complement to “ Dentosuc ” daily, which is used for daily disinfection. The current COVID-19 pandemic once again clearly demonstrates how quickly a virus can spread and how important it is to prevent this as effectively as possible. Proper hand disinfection and cleaning are absolutely essential for this. “ Dentoderm ” HD, available as a liquid or gel, meets
all requirements.
In addition, it is free of dyes and fragrances and is gentle on the skin thanks to its built-in moisturizers. Direct “ impression disinfection ” in the dental office is considered to be at least as important. With Dentoprint MD, dentists have access to a fast-acting product available as a ready-to-use solution or as a concentrate. All products feature short exposure times, providing rapid and comprehensive protection and safety for dentists, patients, and staff.
